Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Don Drysdale played his entire, 14-year MLB career with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers. This lot features an eclectic mix of Drysdale-worn items from the late 1960’s as both a player and a young coach. Included inside a large blue “Dodgers-branded duffel bag are a total of 21 pieces of equipment including four pairs of white sweat socks; four pairs of Dodger Blue stirrups; two pairs of Dodger Blue cleats (one Adidas brand, one Nike brand); two different style sandals (one gray, one tan); one pair of blue nylon pants; two different Dodgers T-shirts; four different white/blue three-quarter-sleeve baseball under shirts; three elastic blue belts; one Ace bandage; and one blue compression brace for his back. Many of the items have “53” (Drysdale’s uniform number) written on them in black marker.
