Nice presentation clock awarded by the Southern California Hot Stove League to L.A. Dodgers Hall of Fame pitcher Don Drysdale commemorating his 1957 season in the Big Leagues. The 6'5" right-hander erupted for a 17-9 record and 2.69 ERA in his sophomore campaign. The roughly 8" by 5.5" wooden frame has a small nameplate reading "SO. CALIF. HOT STOVE LEAGUE - WON 17 - LOST 9 - MAJOR LEAGUE AWARD - 1957 - DON DRYSDALE" and is topped with a gold-colored baseball. The Lanshire Self Starting electric clock is encased in glass and runs via plug in, which we have tested and works just fine. Another memento to honor a magnificent career by a Dodger legend.
Includes LOA from the Drysdale Family.
