The late Don Drysdale was a Hall of Fame pitcher for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers. His career spanned 14 season (1956 to 1969) and he posted a total of 209 victories against 166 defeats, stuck out 2,486 batters and he recorded a career ERA of 2.95. He was inducted into Cooperstown in 1984. This lot features an original painting of Drysdale in various stages of his prolific baseball career. Beautifully painted by artist Stan Kotzen, the framed and matted painting measures 23.5” wide by 30” high. This 1-of-1 work of art comes directly from the Drysdale Family's private collection.
