Dodger Stadium was built in 1962 to accommodate the Brooklyn Dodgers who moved west in 1959. In addition the Dodgers shared the stadium from 1962-1965 with the Los Angeles Angels who later became the California Angels. Dodger Stadium is currently the third-oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball, after Fenway Park and Wrigley Field.

Removed as part of a renovation project in 1999, this scarce unrestored Dodger Stadium seat features a three curved wood slat back and five slat wooden seat in orange paint. A blue stenciled seat number “2” is painted on the arched top back slat. A blue seat cushion remains intact. The seat is affixed to a modern support base making it fully functional.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.

Please note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, the cost of shipping may be substantial.
