Official NL(Frick) baseball single signed on the panel next to the stamping in 6/10 black ink, attributed to the 1938 World Series between the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs. The powerful Yankees swept the Cubs in 4 straight. Dean started Game 2 on October 6 and pitched 8 1/3 innings of a 6-3 loss before leaving the game because of a sore arm. On the panel above another hand has written in 7/10 blue ink "Oct. 5 & 6 1938 World Series Chicago Ill." On the sweet spot in the same ink by the same hand is written "193?". PSA/DNA indicated their were faded signatures on both the north and east panels.
