Dizzy Dean's unprecedented dominance of the National League from 1932-1936 generated a bushel of endorsement deals for the affable pitcher. One resulted in this rare die-cut stand-up display showing Dean promoting "Grape Nuts" cereal and offering young fans some free valuable prizes, complete with a holder for pamphlet distribution. It must have been produced during his heyday, which dates the colorful display to the early 1930's. The 22" by 26" display shows surface soiling throughout. A water stain and horizontal crease with some tearing appears across the bottom quarter. Slight professional color touch is apparent in a few areas. VG condition. The piece is mounted and framed to overall dimensions of 27" x 27".
