Historically significant Derrick Rose New York Knicks game worn jersey from Rose's first matchup against his former team, the Chicago Bulls. Rose spent his first eight seasons as a member of the Chicago Bulls where he won the MVP at the age of 21, the youngest to ever accomplish this. On January 12, 2017, the Bulls traveled to New York to take on the Knicks in what would turn out to be an iconic showdown. The Knicks were victorious at the end in a 104-89 win over the Bulls. Rose finished with 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in the win.
The offered jersey remains in immaculate condition and features a Knick's 70th-anniversary patch on the upper left chest portion. "ROSE" is sewn in on the back while "NEW YORK" is featured on the front of the jersey. The Adidas Climacool jock tag has been inscribed with "1-12-17", "@MSG", and "V CHICAGO BULLS" presumably by the team's equipment manager denoting which game it had been used in. There is also a Steiner Game Used Hologram (244963) affixed atop the jock tag authenticating the jersey for its use.
