Super rare program from the National Football League Championship game played on December 17, 1933 at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Part of the significance of this program is due to the fact that this would be the first championship game of the National Football League since its founding thirteen years prior in 1920.  The Chicago Bears would represent the Western champs against the New York Giants who took the Eastern division.  The Bears would prove victorious but only by a two point margin. The hard fought battle would come down to a game winning touchdown for Chicago with less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter with a final score of 23-21.
The four page program contains full rosters of each team, league standings, and several advertisements from the era. The program presents in GOOD condition with several creases, light stains on one inside page and the quarter by quarter score written in pencil on the inside. An extremely rare, decent condition example of the program from the first scheduled NFL Championship Game.

DEC. 17, 1933 CHICAGO BEARS VS. NEW YORK GIANTS NFL CHAMPIONSHIP (WRIGLEY FIELD) OFFICIAL GAME PROGRAM - FIRST NFL TITLE GAME!
