This lot introduces a trio of collectible items from the 1992 Dream Team, hailing directly from Christian Laettner's personal collection. According to Christian, each player received his own set of these items for being selected to the team.
The first item is a 25-pin set, encased in a red frame, representing the 1992 USA Men's Olympic basketball team. This set comprises individual player pins for the entire 12-man Dream Team, including illustrious names such as Jordan, Magic, Bird, Pippen, Barkley, Ewing, Laettner, Malone, Stockton, Mullin, Robinson, and Drexler. Also included are 13 other USA team pins from the greatest team ever assembled.
The second item is a carefully preserved and mounted 1992 Ballstreet USA Olympic card set, featuring cards for all 12 players. Each card is in near mint to mint condition, adding further value to the collection. The fact that these cards were owned by Laettner himself lends an additional layer of intrigue.
Lastly, this grouping features a 1992 USA Basketball Dream Team wall clock entitled "America's Team". The battery-operated timepiece, with dimensions of 16x20", is certainly a conversation starter with the legendary 12-player roster against a rather comical 90s-era fireworks background.
