In a surprising turn of events during the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, the U.S. women's team experienced a setback in their journey towards gold. Despite a strong start, they were shocked by a defeat in the semifinal match against the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). To this day, it remains their final loss.

Although the disappointment of missing out on the gold medal was palpable, the U.S. team showed resilience and determination in their next game. They regrouped and went on to secure the bronze medal by defeating Cuba in the Bronze Medal final. It was a hard-fought victory that helped them salvage their Olympic campaign.

Adding a touch of sentiment to the tournament, Christian Laettner's family was present at the game. Christian, a prominent figure in the basketball world, took the opportunity to leave his mark on the event. He graciously signed a ticket, which has since been graded as PSA ticket grade 2 (The ticket looks perfect front and back) PSA/DNA Auto 10.

Includes LOA from Christian Laettner
