Directly from the family estate collection of Barney Stein comes this large-format 11" by 14" original photograph of the great Joe DiMaggio with Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel in the Yankees dugout presumably during the early 1950s (Joe's final seson was 1951). The Yankee Clipper dressed in formal attire is holding a bat and pointing at something on the field as he chats with his skipper dressed to the nines in home pinstripes. This crystal-clear black and white original photo in pristine condition was printed off its original negative from the famous Dodgers photographer's camera many years later. It has been professionally framed with a lovely white matting inside a thick wooden border (made of ash like most baseball bats). This exact framed photo was on display as part of the Barney Stein Photo Collection exhibit in 2001 at the Frick Art and Historical Museum in Pittsburgh, PA. (Certificate from this exhibit is included on the reverse side.)
