Circa 1972-74 Kentucky Colonels of the American Basketball Association home uniform game-worn by shooting guard Rick Mount. The 2-time All-America guard out of Purdue was Indiana's Mr. Basketball in 1966 and graced the cover of Sports Illustrated's 2/14/1966 issue. He helped the Indiana Pacers win the 1972 ABA title before joining the Colonels for 1972-73 and part of 1973-74 where he averaged 13.1 points per game. On the front right tail of the white jersey is a Rawlings size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. It appears that another tag was attached to the side but has since come off. Across the front reads an arched “Colonels” in blue. Player No. 30 appears front and back. Across the back reads the player name "Mount." All numbering and lettering are done in the same blue sewn directly onto the white knit jersey. It displays solid game use with some brownish staining on the left shoulder strap, yet still displays beautifully. Matching shorts have a Rawlings size “32” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions sewn inside the back waistband. Number 30 in dark marker is written on top of the Rawlings tag. Shorts display heavy use with some staining on the front. Rare ABA game-worn uniform from one of the more popular teams of the era.
