Directly from the family estate collection of Barney Stein comes this 8" by 10" original photo of Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Don Newcombe and Joe Black -- the Brooklyn Dodgers' four African American star players -- having a moment at Spring Training. Based on the fact that Newcombe was away from the team in 1952 and '53 serving in the Korean War, this had to be taken in 1954 or '55. The look of admiration on Black's face says it all.
This iconic photo of four Dodger greats was printed off its original negative from the famous Dodgers photographer's camera many years later. The reverse has a Barney Stein stamp. It comes with letters from PSA/DNA (Type 2) and Barney Stein's daughter.
