C.1986-88 PATRICK EWING NEW YORK KNICKS GAME WORN ADIDAS 'CONDUCTOR' SIGNATURE MODEL SHOES (KNICKS BALL BOY LOA)

This lot offers an excellent pair of C. 1986-88 Patrick Ewing New York Knicks game worn Adidas ‘Conductor’ Signature Model basketball shoes. The shoes show great signs of game use and come with impeccable provenance from a former Knicks Ball Boy. The shoes are stamped with the Adidas logo in the rear as well as facsimile Patrick Ewing autographs on the side of each shoe. While the shoes show signs of wear from game use, they are still intact and in great condition considering their age. Ewing averaged 20.5 PPG, 8.6 RPG, 1.7 APG, and 2.5 BPG during his first three seasons in the NBA, enough to earn him a spot on the All-Star Team two out of the three years. The Adidas ‘Conductors’ were worn by Ewing beginning in at the end of the 1986 season and through the 1988 NBA All-Star Game. Ewing was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008.
