Wes Parker was a former first baseman in Major League Baseball who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1964 to 1972. A slick fielding first baseman, Parker was a member of the Dodgers 1965 and ’66 World Series teams and won Gold Gloves for his flawless fielding at first base from 1967 to ’72. This is Parker’s circa 1970 first baseman glove. The Rawlings “Heart of the Hide” Professional Player glove is well-worn and even sports Parker’s name in black marker across the thumb area and his uniform number (28) across the wrist.
