Circa 1927 Babe Ruth Photograph from Culver Pictures Archives. Marvelous study of the game's greatest icon dates from the apex of his slugging abilities. Fine contrast of light and shadows propels this portrait into the realm of fine art. The 7"x9" photo appears to have been an 8"x10" trimmed of its white borders, with mild wear at the corners and edges that do not impede upon the image's central focus. A pair of modern "Culver Picture, Inc." attribution labels appear on verso with original Culver stamping visible beneath.
