Ossie Vitt and Buck Weaver were teammates with the San Francisco Seals of the PCL in 1911. This cabinet photo from the estate collection of Vitt shows the pair reunited as Major Leaguers with the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox respectively. The image measures 7” by 4 3/3” on a 8” by 10” mount. It was captured in either 1912 or 1913 base on uniform styles pictured. The photo shows great clarity with no notable condition issues. The mount has moderate corner and edge wear. Photo is likely unique and originates from the estate of Oscar “Ossie” Vitt.
