Early, circa 1850's lemon peel baseball with four piece construction. Lemon peel style baseball remains fully intact with all original stitching. Ball measures about 2 3/4" in diameter and is about 9" in circumference. It has light surface wear and has darkened and hardened over the years.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
