The 2009 season was the New Orleans Saints’ 43rd in the NFL, and the most successful in franchise history. The Saints recorded 13 regular-season victories, tied for the franchise record. The 2009 Saints are one of only two teams to defeat three former Super Bowl winning quarterbacks (2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers) en route to the first and only Super Bowl for the team.

Offered is a ring from the best season ever for the Saints and professional football in the city of New Orleans. The 14-karat gold ring was created by Tiffany & Co. and presented to Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Saints adviser Cortez Kennedy. The ring is set with a beautiful 103 round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 2.2 carats.

On the front of the ring is the diamond-studded team logo fleur-de-lis surrounded by additional diamonds. The words “WORLD CHAMPIONS” are displayed on either side of the ring top. On the left shank of the ring is the Super Bowl XLIV logo beneath the game’s final 31-17 score. Below the logo is the date and location of the game “02-07-10” and “MIAMI, FL.” The right shows the Superdome, the French Quarter’s Jackson Square, and the Lombardi Trophy beneath the name “KENNEDY.” The inside of the ring is engraved with the team motto “Finish, Be Special, Smell Greatness” and the scores of each playoff game during the Saints run. The ring comes in size 12, weighs 55 grams and includes its original presentational box.
