This comprehensive display features several components related to the Tattoo Chewing Gum companies product and related premiums issued circa 1933. Tattoo Orbit Gum was one of the many brands produced in the era by Wrigley. Highlighting the display are two separate Tattoo Orbit Gum display panels with the key being a small (9” x 7-3/4 inches) display box panel advertising its PR3 pins ("Ball Player Buttons – Get Your Favorites – Collect Them All"). The piece retains bright original color and an EX appearance overall. At the top of the montage is another panel (8-1/2” x 4-12”) advertising the “Surprise Photograph” prize that was included one per package with their primary gum product. The panel shows modest wear and holds up in EX-MT condition. Other elements include an example of an Earl Averill “surprise photograph”, a Mickey Cochrane PR3 pin, an original wrapper for a 1cent package of Tattoo Chewing Gum and an interesting 8” x 10” black and white photograph of an original box of Tattoo Chewing Gum full of product – much of which is represented in this display. This thoughtfully assembled group, includes some scarce objects, highlighted by the beautiful PR3 pin display box panel. Creatively matted and framed to overall dimensions of 15-1/2” by 32”.
