ADDENDUM: THE PRINT CATALOG LOT HEADING ERRONEOUSLY NOTED THAT THIS UNIFORM BELONGED TO HERB PENNOCK. THE UNIFORM WAS WORN BY PENNOCK'S SON WHO WAS A BAT BOY WHEN HERB PLAYED FOR THE RED SOX IN 1934.

Amazing C. 1934 son of Herb Pennock Red Sox Ball Boy Uniform derived directly from the Pennock family. This Horace Partridge Co. uniform remains in excellent condition for its age with little staining and all buttons and sewing intact. The jersey features "Red Sox" on the front and "25" sewn in on the rear. Four buttons run down the center of the jersey and are all still sewn to perfection. The pants of the uniform also feature a Horace Partridge logo in the inner seam. An amazing artifact of significant Red Sox history derived from a Hall of Fame legend. A very rare example from the 1930s since not many ball boy uniforms are still in existence, especially with direct provenance from a Hall of Fame ball player.
