Circa 1963 Jim Gilliam Louisville Slugger Professional Signature Model game used by the popular Los Angeles Dodger 2nd baseman. A valuable man in the line up Gilliam had the patience to bat 2nd behind Maury Wills, giving Wills the opportunity to steal a record number of bases. A life long Dodger player and coach, Gilliam was with the organization continuously from his signing in 1951 through his death in 1978. Small "1" stamped on top of knob. Bat is not cracked and exhibits excellent game use with ball, cleat, and bat rack marks. Some grain separation on barrel due to contact. Bat weighs 31 ounces and is 35 inches long.
