Definitely one of a kind circa 1893 Cy Young dual signed Cleveland Spiders Pifer & Becker Cabinet Photo that once belonged to legendary Hall of Fame pitcher. One of the group of 7 cabinet photos sent by Young to a friend, probably in the 1930's, this one has been signed "Cy Young" across the chest in 7-8/10 looking vintage blue ink. Young has also identified the photo at the bottom with "Cy". The legendary Hall of Fame pitcher was in his prime with the Spiders from 1890 through 1898, winning 245 games over that 9 year span. Aside from his first season of 1890 when he posted only a 9-7 record, Young topped the 20 victory mark the next 8 years, 3 times besting the 30 victory mark. Young would eventually pitch 22 years and rack up an unbelievable total of 511 victories. Cabinet photo itself is in very nice condition, with a crystal clear photo image. At both upper corners there are small diagonal creases. Back is also fairly clean with a with a small "553" in what looks like pencil at one edge. Pictured photo is exactly the same as the one used in the extremely rare 1893 Just So Tobacco issue. A real once in a lifetime opportunity to obtain a Cy Young signed photo from the beginnings of his unbelievable Hall of Fame career!

Slabbed Cy Young Photo/Cy Young Collection - Cy Young (DUAL) Authentic Handwriting by PSA/DNA.

Also included is the original mailing envelope in which the 7 cabinet photos were sent. The envelope itself is in poor condition, but in the upper left corner, in beautiful 9/10 looking vintage black ink, Young has written "From Cy Young Peoli O." Envelope has a Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
