Immaculate and one-of-a-kind Lou Gehrig autographed and inscribed album page. The recently surfaced album page remains in near-mint condition with a pristine Lou Gehrig signature. The page reads "To Phyllis - Fred has been roaring what a sweet girl you are. Cordially Lou Gehrig" in bold, black pen for excellent eye appeal. The album page was originally submitted to PSA in 2005 and received a MINT 9 grade for the autograph. Upon submission for encapsulation earlier this year, the grade was re-evaluated (per PSA/DNA policy) and is now deemed NM-MT 8. However, the overall quality of the full-name Lou Gehrig signature still warrants a mint 9 rating in our book. Overall, one of the nicer Lou Gehrig signatures available today with a neat inscription. This lot is accompanied by a vintage photo of a young girl who supposedly is Phyllis, whom Lou was addressing on his note.
