Presented here in an incredible high-grade dual signed baseball featuring impressive Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb signatures on a baseball addressed to PGA tour pro Bobby Roseburg. Golfer Bobby Rosburg played for almost three decades on the PGA tour. His professional accomplishments include six tour victories, a seventh-place finish on the money list, and being named to the U.S. Ryder Cup team after winning the PGA Championship and finishing second in the U.S. Open. in 1959. However, one of Rosburgs most famous achievements on a golf course occurred in 1939. In a club championship match on the Lakeside course at Olympic, the 12-year old Bob Rosburg defeated a 52-year old Baseball Hall of Famer, Ty Cobb. Legend has it that Cobb was needled so much by fellow members once back at the clubhouse that he cleaned out his locker and never came back.

The offered baseball was presumably signed for Rosburg prior to the event. On the top panel of the Wilson Official PCL baseball is the inscription, "To Bobby Rosburg, From Ty Cobb and..." on the sweet spot below is "Babe Ruth". Both signatures remain in immaculate condition with the Cobb rating no less than 8/10 and the Ruth, a spectacular 9/10. The ball is evenly toned and protected by a clear coat of shellac. The boldness of the signatures is remarkable to go along with the priceless back story. An impressive one-of-a-kind addition to any serious vintage collection.
