Fall of 1943 crystal clear original Type I black & white photo picturing Babe Ruth handing a box of 1943 World Series Highlights to Johnny Murphy standing on a ladder, who in turn is handing them to a soldier aboard an aircraft so they can be shipped to US servicemen serving overseas during World War II. Ruth has signed his image in 7/10 looking green ink "To My Pal Johnny Murphy From Babe Ruth". Photo has already been matted to a size of 11 3/4" by 14 1/4" and is ready for your frame.
