Nice looking pair of framed Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig vintage black and white photos. Both have crystal clear images of the famed New York Yankee Hall of Fame sluggers. Ruth is shown, hands on hips, in his Yankee road uniform glove in hand, standing in what appears to be old Comiskey Park in Chicago. Around the edge of the photo, printed right in the black border by the original photographer is written "Babe Ruth Aug -21 46th Home Run". Gehrig is pictured, hands on hips, in his Yankee home uniform, as teammates take batting practice in the background with Yankee Stadium looming above. The Gehrig photo measures 2 3/4" by 4 1/2" with the Ruth, a larger 4" by 5 3/4". Each photo is held in place by 4 clear plastic photo corners. The photos themselves appear to be in nice shape with the Gehrig having a couple of creases that do not break the front surface paper. Beautifully framed and matted together to a size of 12 3/4" by 10 3/4". Great display piece!
