The 1965 NBA Finals was part of the Boston Celtics' decade of dominance, with Bill Russell leading the team to 11 titles during his career. The Celtics beat the Lakers 4-1 in the series. The team's average margin of victory in this series was 12.6 points, as they averaged 123.4 points a game, in contrast to the Lakers' 110.8 points per game. Game 3, however, was the lone victory for the Lakers in the series. Los Angeles thoroughly trounced Boston 126-105 in that game, and Jerry West led all scorers with 43 points. The Logo added 12 rebounds and 7 assists to his incredible stat line, trimming the series deficit to 2-1 after that game. The full ticket offered from that game here is very hard to find, as none of the examples in PSA's population report are graded higher than this NM-MT 8.
