This Large Size black wool and leather jacket from Triple Play Sporting Goods in Philadelphia is the real deal, a nylon-lined jacket that looks so warm and comfortable you have to wonder how Angelo Dundee resisted the temptation to wear this WBA Trainer of the Year beauty on a regular basis. By the looks of it - as pristine and perfect as the day it was handed to him - he somehow managed it. Despite the tendency of black wool to easily show any bit of dirt or wear, you can't find any of it here. Instead, you see intricate "Trainer of the Year" and "Angelo Dundee" white embroidery on each breast that jumps out at you, the 10-by-5-inch snow-white fleece "WBA" across the back and the 6-by-8-inch black fleece offset by white boxing gloves patch below. The silver snaps and elastic front are similarly pristine; the collar has a leather underside and the pockets have black leather lining, all of which are untouched and magnificent. And we haven't even gotten to the sleeves yet. Alternating black-and-white leather sleeves boast a 5-inch in diameter WBA patch on one sleeve and "WBA" in 4-inch high black fleece on the other. Next to the "A" in WBA comes the only accoutrement that didn't come from the factory, and it's not too shabby, either. Dundee supplied a huge black Sharpie autograph that covers an area of roughly 4-by-3 inches. For those who like to mix-and-match their sports memorabilia and sartorial longings, it doesn't get any better than this.
