This award was presented (as shown in the photo) to Angelo Dundee in February of 1956 by the Boxing Writers and Broadcasters Association citing his selection as Best Trainer in 1955. It is roughly 12-by-15 inches, with a boxing figural piece atop an ornate pedestal beneath similarly ornate nameplates (2) that say "Voted Best Trainer in 1955" and "Presented to Angelo Dundee by the Chicago Boxing Writers and Broadcasters Association, Feb. 14, 1956." The award is in generally excellent condition overall, jostled only a bit by a couple of the tiny scratches and scuff marks that you might anticipate from an artifact more than a half century old. Dundee signed it on the back in bold, black marker, adding the inscription "Great Nite."
Comes with an LOA from the Dundee Family.
