Stunning action shot of Stan Musial sliding into base on September 2, 1961 in a matchup versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. The photograph, derived from the Musial Collection, remains in excellent condition with nice white borders. The image has been autographed by Musial in blue permanent marker that pops off the black and white photograph. The rear description features a full breakdown of the play stating "Don Hoak of Pirates makes a diving attempt to tag out Stan Musial." The image has been designated Type I by PSA/DNA and the autograph has been authenticated as well. An excellent capture from the late-summer matchup in '61.
