This offering is a Louisville Slugger C271 model bat used by Alex Rodriguez during the final game ever played at old Yankee Stadium on September 21, 2008. The amount of tradition, history and memories at old Yankee Stadium is immense, and this offering is a nice bookend of the stadium's 85 year run. The uncracked bat shows phenomenal use with several ball marks, stitch impressions, white leather marks and cleat imprints toward the bottom of the barrel. Pine tar covers the lower handle while paint is chipped off near the top of the barrel. Rodriguez has also signed and inscribed this beauty in silver marker on the barrel, "game used vs Baltimore At Yankee Stadium The Final Game Ever." This amazing A-Rod gamer is accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17082) for the game use and has been graded  a perfect GU 10. The bat also comes with an LOA from Alex Rodriguez and includes a JSA sticker affixed to the knob (B85113) confirming that the autograph and inscription are both in A-Rod's hand.
