On August 4th, 2010, Alex Rodriguez joined a group of prestigious men as the seventh and youngest member ever to hit 600 home runs. The slugger rounded first base after his homer and joined some very good company in his first steps to glory in the 600 Home Run Club. The dual authentication done by Major League Baseball and Steiner sports leaves no doubt that this first base bag was used in the game at Yankees Stadium on 8/4/10 versus the Toronto Blue Jays. The base is inscribed “600 HR” & “8/4/10” on the top of the base along with Alex Rodriguez’s signature. The base is in excellent condition and shows solid game use with infield dirt staining. The bottom of the base is inscribed “8/4/10 1st Base” denoting the placement and date used. A significant piece of memorabilia from a milestone that only six other players have reached in Major League history.
