Crystal clear capture of Stan Musial sliding into home base in his St. Louis Cardinals uniform as Phil Masi of the Boston Red Sox attempts to tag him out. Musial has autographed the original action photo in bold, blue permanent ink for eye-catching appeal atop the black and white photograph. The verso of the photo has a caption that reads "Musial out at home - Masi the Boston catcher, 7/25/48". The date marks the dog days of summer for Musial's third MVP season. No major blemishes and nice white borders. The Musial Collection photograph has been designated Type I by PSA/DNA with a perfect 10 grade for the autograph. The rear has also been stamped with a JSA Authentication Sticker (K92575).
