Fresh to the market come these Allen Iverson Reebok “Answer IV” sneakers worn in Game 2 of the 2001 NBA Finals against the L.A. Lakers at Staples Center on June 8, 2001. The incredible pair of size 11 sneakers show definitive signs of game use and have been conclusively photomatched. The inscription “Ms. Rego” has been inscribed by Iverson on the outer panel of the left shoe in honor of the Philadelphia 76ers ball boy’s mother. She was very ill at the time and Iverson showed his affable human side by dedicating the pair to her.

Iverson finished the Game 2 loss with 23 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. In Game 1, Iverson tallied 48 points leading the Sixers to their sole win in the series, highlighted by his unforgettable step-over on Tyrone Lue after making a jumper over the Lakers guard. The pair of sneakers remain in good overall condition but do have some residue and staining on the insoles and inner areas. This is the finest Iverson game used item we've ever offered and perhaps his best pair of sneakers to come up for auction.

Accompanied by a full photomatch LOA from Sports Investors Authentication and a Philadelphia 76ers ball boy letter of provenance.
