Robin van Persie, recently retired from professional football, is widely considered one of the top forwards of his generation. The lethal left-footer made his international debut for the Netherlands in 2005 in a friendly against Romania and was a mainstay on the national squad until 2017. He finished with 102 caps and 50 goals for the Oranje and is the Dutch National Team's all-time leading scorer. Perhaps even more impressive were the striker's tenures with iconic clubs Arsenal and Manchester United with whom he combined for 144 goals in 280 English Premier League matches. Offered here is Van Persie's Netherlands jersey worn during a friendly on 6/4/2011 vs. Brazil in which the two world powers played to a 0-0 draw at Arena da Baixada Stadium in Goiania, Brazil.

The white Nike Dri-Fit shirt (size L) with a blue trimmed collar and red and blue stripes on the front has the Dutch National Team crest ("KNVB") patch on the left chest. The Brazilian and Dutch flags are embossed below the crest with the date "4 JUNI 2011." RVP's number "9" is pressed on the front and back in blue with white polka dots. An arched "V. PERSIE" is pressed on the upper back. There is a Nike authentic code ("000142255") patch sewn on the left front tail. On the rear collar, "NETHERLANDS" is embossed in white over a blue pressed-on label. This jersey shows appropriately light wear for one issued for single-game use. Includes LOA from a former Brazilian National Team coordinator.
