Nolan Ryan was not in top form as he took the mound for the Angels on June 1, 1975. The ace had painful bone chips in his pitching arm and muscle strains in his legs. Yet despite the pain and discomfort, Nolan Ryan did what he did best – threw a no-hitter. This was the 4th of Ryan’s career, an achievement only Sandy Koufax had accomplished before that day. It also marked the third consecutive season the Angels ace tossed a no-no, something no one had ever done before. The 1-0 victory over the Orioles also happened to be Ryan's 100th career win on his way to 324 in his Hall of Fame career. Ryan has signed this field box ticket stub to that historic game in blue ballpoint. The stub is graded PSA EX 5 and the signature is rated PSA 9.

According to the PSA pop report, there are only two stubs graded higher (one is EX-MT 6 w/ qualifier). This is 1 of 2 known autographed versions, and our consignor owns the other one.

6/1/1975 NOLAN RYAN AUTOGRAPHED 4TH CAREER NO-HITTER TICKET STUB - PSA EX 5 & PSA/DNA 9 AUTO. (1/2)
