After starring for the Dayton Flyers for three years, 6' 9" Obi Toppin was selected by the New York Knicks with the 8th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Due to COVID, his first NBA Summer League action came in August of 2021. Presented here is the jersey Toppin wore during the tournament in Las Vegas. The high-flying forward was named to the All-Summer League First Team after averaging 21 points and 8.3 rebounds. He showed great improvement in his second season with the Knicks, more than doubling his rookie year scoring average.
The blue Knicks jersey made by Nike has Toppin's name and jersey number ironed on the back where he has added his bold black signature. Properly tagged and dated by Nike with the NBA logo on the back and New York's jersey sponsor logo (Squarespace) on the left upper chest, the size Large (+2 length) shirt displays moderate wear.
