From the third-leading scorer in NBA history and one of the most exhilarating players ever comes this Kobe Bryant game-worn shooting shirt, resplendent in the iconic Los Angeles Lakers purple and gold. After retiring with a 33,643 career points, 18 All-Star appearances, five NBA titles, two scoring titles and a league MVP award, Kobe now has only to await the call of Springfield for his date with NBA immortality. In 2015-16, when he donned this shooting shirt in pre-game warm-ups, the “Black Mamba” knew it would be his last season in a storied NBA career, making this shooting shirt one of the last team issued garments Kobe would receive from the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Adidas Climacool long-sleeve shooting shirt has “LAKERS” sewn in across the chest as well as the Lakers logo on the upper back. The NBA logo is stitched on the left sleeve, while the right sleeve features the Adidas logo. Added in on the 2XL +2 length jock tag is “24”, presumably written by the team equipment manager denoting Bryant’s number. The shooting shirt is in excellent condition, showing no signs of fraying or deterioration from aging. The inside tagging reads “7/15” denoting the manufacture date of the garment. This is an iconic piece from a historical final season of the soon-to-be Hall of Famer, Kobe Bryant.
