Corey Seager, brother of Mariners 3rd baseman Kyle Seager, was the Los Angeles Dodgers' 2012 first round draft pick out of Northwest Cabarrus High School (NC). He was the Dodgers #1 overall prospect when they call him up in September 2015. In 27 games, the 21-year-old shortstop tore up big league pitching with a slash line of .337/.425/.561 in place of a slumping Jimmy Rollins. He is a 2016 Rookie of the Year candidate in the National League, and looks to be a fixture at shortstop wearing Dodger blue for years to come. Julio Urias was signed by the Dodgers at the age of 16 out of Culiacan, Sinaloa. The Mexican was ranked by MLBpipeline.com as the top left-handed pitching prospect in all of baseball entering the 2015 season. MLB.com ranked him #8 and Baseball America had him at #10 overall.
