In 2013, the Miami Heat won their second straight NBA title behind the talented “Big Three” in their starting five: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. In an exciting, seven-game NBA Finals versus the San Antonio Spurs, the Heat outlasted their series opponent four games to three. A timely, game-tying three-point basket in the waning seconds of Game 6 by free-agent signing Ray Allen kept the dream alive. The Heat eventually won the game and the series two days later. This lot features the beautifully crafted 10K white gold championship ring that was awarded to then-front office executive Nicole Kammerer following the second consecutive championship. The top of the ring features a pair of Larry O'Brien Championship Trophies in 10K yellow gold sitting atop a black onyx stone. Basketballs are represented by real diamonds. "HEAT" in 10K white gold set with diamonds on top. "WORLD CHAMPIONS" and 141 more diamonds surround the top. One side has "KAMMERER", "2013", "BACK TO BACK", and a raised Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy in black enamel. The other side has "MIAMI HEAT", "FAMILY", with '06, '12, '13 below a trio of raised Larry O'Brien trophies and the NBA logo. Inside is inscribed with "FRANCHISE BEST 66-16 RECORD", "27 - GAME WINNING STREAK" and stamped with "JOSTENS 10K". The accompanying black presentation box was evidently recycled from the previous year’s title as it reads "MIAMI HEAT", "Nichole Kammerer", and "2012 NBA CHAMPIONS" etched on the glass top. Ring size is 6 ½ and it weighs 70 grams.
