A Lou Gehrig signature is one of the pillars of any advanced autograph collection, and this SP Exquisite Cuts is one of the more unique ways in which to obtain an example. The 2.5” x 3.75” card displays a cut example of Gehrig’s signature, signed by the Yankees legend in bold ink pen on a trimmed piece of natural colored paper. The two-sided card is wonderfully designed with attractive foil stamping and details of Lou’s storied career. The upper right front corner is hand lettered “3/4” in black marker and the reverse has a hologram affixed. The signature has been graded an EX-MT 6 and encapsulated by PSA. What’s more this is the sole example to be found in the PSA consensus report.
