This lot offers a Lawrence Timmons Pittsburgh Steelers game worn jersey hammered with use from the 2011 season. The jersey can be easily photo-matched to the AFC Wild Card Game on January 8, 2012 when the Steelers traveled to Denver to face off against the Broncos. Timmons, drafted in 2007 in the first round, found his starting role with the team during the 2009 campaign and proved himself worthy of the spot. He would go on to start 126 of 158 games at right inside linebacker in Dick LeBeau's vaunted defense, accumulating over 100 total tackles in a season six times.

The Steelers white road jersey manufactured by Reebok is tagged with "11-44" inside the collar to indicate the season worn and size. There are multple team repairs on the shoulders and sleeves as well as heavy contact marks, paint transfers and scratches thoughout the body. “TIMMONS” is sewn across a whjite nameplate on the upper back in gold tackle twill outlined in black. His No. “94” appears front and back in black tackle twill. A Steelers logo patch is on the upper left chest. Pittsburgh fell just short in the Wild Card showdown, losing 29-23 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium. Timmons had five solo tackles and one assisted for a total of six during the game.

Comes with Pittsburgh Steelers LOA (Cert. #: 168565) signed by President Art Rooney II. The photo-match has been confirmed by Resolution Photomatching, although the original paperwork was misplaced by the previous auction house who initially listed it.
