Presented here is Giancarlo Stanton's 2010 game used and signed Louisville Slugger bat that he swung during his rookie season with the Florida Marlins. The 6' 6" physical specimen, who went by "Mike" early in his career, was called up in June and proceeded to hit 22 home runs with 59 RBI, setting the tone for his future as one of baseball's elite power hitters.

The 33.75-inch and 31.5-oz. Louisville Slugger professional model P147 bat, with a cupped end, exhibits evidence of outstanding use with a handle crack and a sliver missing from the crack. Numerous ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Cleat marks can be seen on the right and back barrel. Also visible on the bat is an impression from a weighted batting donut and there is a light coat of Mota Stick on the lower handle. The mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking, per Major League Baseball, for all maple bats since January 2009. The date of manufacture (8/3/2010), length (33.5) and weight (31) are stamped into the knob. Stanton's number (27) is written on the knob and top barrel in black marker. Stanton has autographed the front barrel in black marker.

Includes LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA with GU 8.5 grade. Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
