The Miami Heat, coached by Part Riley and led on the court by Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O'Neal, stormed through 2006 Eastern Conference playoffs before defeating the Dallas Mavericks in The Finals, 4 games to 2. This lot features a 2006 Miami Heat NBA World Champions ring that was issued to then-GM and former NBA head coach Randy Pfund. This top executive level ring is the same version as the one Shaq gave to his father, which we sold in 2015 for $16,500.

The 14-karat white gold ring holds over 175 (we counted) individually cut diamonds (approx. 6 carats total) spread out beautifully on the face, each flank and around the perimeter. On the face is a large diamond-studded basketball above a hoop and floor combo design, this all laid out over a gorgeous Onyx stone. The perimeter of the face has a diamond-studded pattern spelling out "WORLD CHAMPIONS" and another layer of diamonds in unison just below it. One shank has "PFUND", "15 STRONG" and "FAITH" plus the year "2006," with a diamond-studded crown in the middle. The other flank has the team name "HEAT", NBA logo, "FAMILY," and a large diamond-studded Heat logo in the middle. "It Was Our Time 6-20-06" is engraved inside the band. The size 12.5 ring weighs 76 grams with over 2.5 troy oz. of white gold hold. It shows minimal wear and remains in outstanding condition. Box not included.
