Offered here is Lamont Sheppard's 2006 Florida Gators National Champions ring. The 10-karat gold ring is manufactured by Herff Jones and comes in size 10 with a bed of CZ's on the face and surrounding edges. Within conglomerate of CZ's is a National Championship trophy, with the ball of the trophy filled out with a large CZ. "NATIONAL CHAMPIONS" appears in relief lettering on the perimeter. The left shank displays "13-1" -- the Gator's final record -- on top with the final score of the BCS Championship game at the bottom, centered by a detailed image combining the Gators logo and a National Champions banner. The right shank reads, "SHEPPARD" above an emblem of the Gator's stadium with "THE SWAMP" and "DB" just beneath. Inside the band shows the "HJ" and "10K" marks along with an engraved "L Sheppard" in cursive. The ring shows light to moderate wear and presents beautifully. It is important to note that National Championship teams in football began receiving two rings in 2002, one from their school dated with the season year and the other from the BCS with the year the National Championship game was actually played. This ring is the one issued by the Florida Gators to players and coaches.
