This offered Alex Rodriguez gamer dates to the 2005-06 seasons when the slugging third baseman won his first AL MVP as a member of the Yankees. In 2005, A-Rod batted .321, launched 48 homers and drove in 130 for the Bombers. He was nearly as productive the following year. The Louisville Slugger model P72 professional model ash bat (34", 30.5 oz.) with black finish is un-cracked with evidence of outstanding use. Some checking (grain swelling) from repeated ball contact is on the left and back barrel. Numerous ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the left and back barrel. Cleat marks can be seen on the right and left barrel and there is a moderate coat of Mota Stick on the lower handle.
