Prior to the start of the 2003-04 season, Pistons General Manager Joe Dumars fired 2002 Coach of the Year, Rick Carlisle, and replaced him with Hall of Famer Larry Brown. The Pistons had a strong core of players with Chauncey Billups, Tayshaun Prince, Rip Hamilton and Ben Wallace. Dumars then acquired Rasheed Wallace before the trade deadline strengthening Detroit’s already hard-nosed defense. In the playoffs, Detroit would knock off Milwaukee, New Jersey and Indiana en route to a Finals match-up against Kobe and Shaq and the Lakers. Detroit dominated the heavily-favored Lakers, winning the series in just five games.

This stunning original "A level" ring was presented to Dan Isenberg, Director Of Season Ticket Sales for the Detroit Pistons, who was there for all 3 Pistons Championships, which is symbolized by the 3 trophies on the shank. The ring presents beautifully with a sizable diamond inset onto a gold NBA Finals trophy graphic. Background field consists of 102 diamonds ranging in size from .003 to .04 carat weight along with "PISTONS" team name across the front. "2004 WORLD CHAMPIONS" lettering is found at the top and bottom margins with 12 additional princess cut diamonds on either side margin. One side panel displays "ISENBERG, THE RIGHT WAY" with three diamond adorned Larry O’Brien championship trophies above the year "2004". The other panel has "DETROIT, GOING TO WORK, PISTONS 4 LAKERS 1" along with an enamelwork NBA logo. This ring is sized approx. 11.5 to 12 and marked on the interior ring band "INTERGOLD 14K" and "Daniel Isenberg 057". The ring comes with its original wooden presentation box with the inscribed metal placard on the lid.
