Presented here is Alex Rodriguez's game-used, signed and inscribed Louisville Slugger professional model G174 bat dating to his debut campaign with the Yankees in 2004. After ten standout seasons for the Mariners and Rangers, A-Rod took his big bat and even bigger salary to the Bronx where he handed over shortstop duties to pinstriped legend Derek Jeter. Rodriguez fit in nicely in the Yankees lineup and adjusted smoothly to the hot corner, earning his second MVP award in 2005.

The 33.75" and 31.8 oz. ash bat is un-cracked and displays heavy game use. The barrel is loaded with ball marks, stitch impressions, grain swelling and bat rack streaks. There is a medium-heavy coating of pine tar on the label. A-Rod has signed the barrel in bold blue marker with "2004 Game Used" inscribed. The bat has all sorts of authentication, starting with an LOA signed by Rodriguez (with photo evidence) with matching AROD memorabilia hologram stickers on the bat and letter. Dave Bushing of SCD graded it a perfect A10 back in 2005. Also comes with an early LOA from John Taube and Vince Malta of PSA/DNA (B96698) in which the game use and autograph were both authenticated.
