During the 2001-02 NBA season, Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard Allen Iverson led the league in scoring for the second consecutive year by averaging 31.4 points per game. It was Iverson’s second straight scoring title and third in four years. This lot features the Basketball Hall of Famer’s game worn alternate jersey from that incredible 2001-02 season.

This blue nylon road jersey reads “SIXERS” across the front, sewn on the chest in white, red and silver tackle twill, with his uniform number “3” sewn on below it in white on red tackle twill. The back of the jersey has “IVERSON” and number “3” sewn on in white and red tackle twill. The official NBA logo is embroidered on the upper left shoulder in red, white and blue and a commemorative “9/11” memorial ribbon patch is sewn on the upper right shoulder. The lower left front tail features the “Champion” manufacturers tagging with [size] “44” and complete washing instructions included. A separate flag tag reading “+4 LENGTH” is included. Adjacent to the Champion tag is a second label that reads “Designed & Tailored by Champion Exclusively for the Philadelphia 76ers” with a “2001-2002” flag tag attached. The collar has a ribbed material with red, black and gold striping and the sleeve openings are tailored with the blue nylon material.

The jersey displays light to moderate wear and comes with an LOA signed by Iverson himself.
